its has been long long time didnt update my blog...
has been travelling around European countries these 3 weeks..

london>belgium>amsterdem>germany>Czech replubic>Hugary>Austria>italy>swiss>france...
its is a good experience with a total of 30 friends...
big group of backpacker!

so far everyone is safe and loss has been very small...
1 of our member lost his passport but managed to get it back few days after that...
but he lost total of RM12k~$$ and some personal belonging...

brussel in belgium is the most dangerous country so far...
pick pocket is kinda aggressive there...
but none of us lost a single cent there...

its kinda cool to travel around where we have to learn many other languages...

kinda nervous,exited,upset....
have to find a job very soon...
have to face the real life very soon...

but finally i can eat malaysian foods very soon...
the best part of malaysia...

Time fly fast

Final exams is kinda close...
10 more days...
12 more days for the last paper...

a month more to return to malaysia...
2 months more to get into the working world...

kinda excited and yet upset...
life will change...
where am i going to work and live in next 3 months??

its kinda unknown...
but i'm pretty sure it will be better...^^

Summer course in SHU

TARCians have the option to study 3 months summer top-up program either in SHU or LJMU.
Sheffield is kinda small and peaceful city but we still need to be-careful especially in the night...
many DRUNKies on the street...

we had 1 break-in case just now...
some one break in through the window after they cut the steel bar...
kinda that scary...
the lesson is...try not to stay at ground floor and dont leave your valuable in the room when you're going out for a trip!!

lets come back to the cost of living in sheffield for tarcian...
how much do we need for this 3 months or 4 months??
3700 pound included tuition fee and accommodation (1.3k if i not mistaken)
flight ticket will cost us around RM3.5k
meanwhile,cost of living in sheffield can be very low if you cook yourself and join some of the trip only...
budget for F&B will be definitely below 100 pound per month if you didnt have your meal outside...
but u will need around 150-200 pound for the 1st week because there are some groceries you need to buy here

without spectacular life and trips...it will only cost around RM25-26k
but its sufficient to live very enjoyable...

Community House in Sheffield

its an old-folk community house where there are around 60 elders staying there...
they have a very nice common room...
they have a very kind and friendly manager~TINA the cutest lady beside me...

some of them are no in a very good condition and need a health carer to look after them...
but most of them are kinda active, interactive, kind and friendly...
its kinda funny when there is an "Ah Po" age 98 and still kinda talkative...
so cute and funny...

went to this place with 2 of the university's stuff...
main purpose of this visit is to learn how they live and their experience in sheffield...

we talked about the oldfolk house and the community house here...
here in sheffield...
everything is kinda peace,positive, and interactive...
back in malaysia...
its kinda different...the whole atmosphere is kinda dull and sad...
even the worker of the oldfolk house is DULL and sienz...

this community house in sheffield is a good place to live when i'm old...
comfortable...
friendly and active mates...

not bad ah...^^

last nite was my 2nd time get into the G.Club...
the club offer free entry for student every Tuesday...
it is a nice place to drink and lepak...
cuz got FREE show watch...
each strip dancer will be allocated 2 songs to perform on the stage with a pole...
1st song~dance with bra and bottom...
2nd song~NO BRA~~~~

then the rest of the time...
they will go around and ask whether you want a private session with them or not...
THEY WILL TAKE OFF EVERYTHING during the private dance...

10 pound for 1 song...that the normal price...
then there are 2-4-1 throughout the night...thats mean 10 pound for 2 songs...
VIP private dance will cost you 60 pound....
15 mins...more DIRTY dance....
(should be able to touch them if you are in the VIP session

last night...
we and my GF paid 10 pound each for the 2-4-1 with 2 strip dancers...
we swap dancer after the 1st song...
my GF always wanted to TRY this...

lastly...

TO PRACTICE it!!

so i'm planning to get a stock trading account here in uk.
but ordinary share trading account is kinda not famous here.
they use to be CFD trading rather than the share.

CFD is kinda derivative trading where there will be a huge leverage 1 to 10 or 1 to 20..
so we can trade 10 times of our deposit.
we can long or short the underlying share or indices.

trading commission is 0.5% of the value and we pay nothing for the stamp duty.
we still entitle to the dividend and any right issues...
but we do not own the share...

unfortunately...
its not my style...
i going to buy and hold rather than trade those stock for short term...
secondly,
i have only small start up capital...
therefore, i go for high risk at this moment...

found a cheap trading platform from my module leader...

trading cost kinda similar with m'sia...
minimum cost is 7.5 pound
stamp duty
and plus a admin fee of 2.5pound+VAT every quarter...
i can set a dividend reinvestment order...
where they will reinvest my dividend(must more than 10 pounds)asap...

i'll try to learn how to invest well in uk market and diversify my portfolio...
lastly,
i might be staying here in UK if i manage to get the PSW to work here for 2 years...

What good with UK??

have been here for a week...
its kinda cold for malaysia to be here even during their summer...
wind blows everyday...thats why its kinda cold...
basically,weather here is nice...
no heavy rain...
no super hot sunlight...

people here tend to walk and ride a bike most of the time here...
you will feel like walking around the city too due to the weather is cold and we rarely sweat...

people here is much more polite than malaysia's humans...

cost of living in Sheffield is kinda low actually...
you get a job of around 2k pound per month...
pay around 200 pounds++...
no need to pay parking...use ur legs to walk around...
sandwiches is price from 1-3pounds...
spaghetti here cost 40 pent and the 1 bottle of the pasta sauce will cost you from 18 pent to 1 pound++
damn cheap!!!
MCD here will cost you 4 pounds++ per set...

you can easily find 2 meal for 6 pounds around sheffield too...
but dont go for service product...
insurance here will cost alot compare with the car price...

so it is a good place to live and save $$...
hope i can apply the PSW and get a work here...

we had some farewell...

we also had many small farewell activities such as MAHJONG...cool...


lastly,they came to airport to see my face before i fly...
we didnt have beer..but we have many V-soy multigrain soya...
so we drink it as beer...cool...

on board...

nice meals in the flight...


keep on eating only...wakkak..


and we can get wine for free...cool...
i finished 4 cups of wine in the 1st flight...

that's make me cant fall into sleep...
body was so warm...too hot for me to sleep..
so i watched 2 moives and play games in the 1st flight


in the 2nd flight...
we sleep like pig cuz its too tired and we need to sleep to minimize the jet lag..


we arrive at Manchester and our UNI sent some student crews to bring us to our place..

we depart from malaysia on 840pm...
but we reach here around 230pm(malaysia time)...
total traveling time spent was around 22 hours include those wait time at airport...
i would not like to travel so far so frequent...
keep on sitting on the plane till my ass FLAT dy lo...
