Gambling??

i might look like CASINO kaki where i visit Genting kinda often...
may be an average of once a month ba...
but i'm not going there for casino...
i dont like to gamble...
i only put small bet even during the CNY...

i dont mind to gamble for fun in CNY...
as the culture of Chinese...
but i always put the lowest bet...
just want to join the big group, not thinking of winning the bet...

currently putting the biggest bet of my life...
i kinda impressed on myself where i dare to follow...
i "call" the bet...
now i'm finished the 3rd bet of the texas holdem...
where we can see there are 3 cards on the table and next card coming up...
i'm not in the total "loss" position...
it is still possible for me...
but...
no one know what will happen until the next card is on the table...
kinda hard to "FOLD" dy...
since i decided to "call" the 2nd bet...
i DECIDED...
i'll try my best...
wish me good luck...

i get into the hardest bet of my life...
never be in this kind of situation before...
i enjoy it yet...
there are still many "hard" part...

no matter what happen...
i have to accept it...
i putting out everything i can...
just for this bet...
after this...
i got to focus on OUR future...or MY future...

Last Month of 2010

missed a good return due to portfolio reconstruction in NOV...
portfolio has been reconstruct into High Dividend which will provide me a DY of >7.
opportunity cost for this reconstruction >>Media,Dialog and Hiro...
all these 3 posted at least 25% gain for this year while Dialog posted around 80% gain...
major holding still on those small&medium company...
current holding 4 major stocks!

liquidated my Sukuk Simpanan Rakyat last few days...
to solve some of the liquidity problem...
there are still some receivables...
and yet some payables too...

some new update...
Manage to get into the round 2 of HSBC Young Entrepreneur Award 2010-11
gonna submit 1 mins presentation clip...
need votes very soon..

applying for the scholarship from CIMB investment bank...
for the professorial course in investment conducted by NextView...
waiting for the next interview...

Final exam is just around the corner...
10th,13th and last paper on 17th...then heading back Sabah on 23rd
started some screening dy...
hope can get better result this semester...

lastly,
abit complicated case...
but its getting better...
i might have my turning point very soon...
2011 seems to be very bright...

Sometimes thing went out of our control...

went into a very complicated situation recently...
get into this after 3years...

fluctuation of emotion...
fluctuation of confident...
fluctuation of energy...

and yet...
things get so close which more than normal level...
i'm falling into it deeper...

there is no more right or wrong...
decision has been made...
i'll wait for the result...

some1 just told me that we have to appreciate and love ourselves at first...

this is a month full with celebration...
Xmas...
countdown for 2011...
Tuesday of this week la...dunno what celebration...

gonna visit GENTING for 2 times in this month...
25th>>for Xmas and some1 Birthday...
30th>>just a relax trip to genting before our final start...

another event will be the BLANCO night..
a porm night...
kinda rush for the preparation of this porm night...

i'm having cash outflow for the whole december...
need to cut down some budget for my new year custom dy...
wait for my rm 150 cheque...

hope everything will be fine in this december...

My 2011 resolutions

1) My investment portfolio
- grow to RM30k (new capital flow + yearly return of >10%)

2) UK study
- complete my degree with 1st class honor.

3) Blog
- never stop writing blog!!!

4) Travel
- Europe trip!!!

5) Reading
- 20 books or magazines

6) Work in UK/S'pore
- work in the investment bank

7) paying back some "coupon" payment to my parents!!

8) relationship
- depend on the fate la...

9) extra knowledge
- attend 20 event, workshop and exhibition.

10)keep weight below 70 kg!!

Dare or not...

i'm doubting myself again...
can i???
do i able to???

there are somethings i dare to try or aim high...
especially on my own-selves...
cuz it will affect mostly only me myself...

but i lost confident since 4 years ago in this part...
never think that i'm capable to do it well anymore...
hard to let all the burden go...

jam in the middle...
brain cant even come out with a solution yet...
may be i'm to objective and rational...

This is one of the amazing stuff in the world...
no matter u like it or not...
u will never run away from it...

How many of us eat Maggie's product??
Milo??Dutch Lady's product??
Proton car??
even the tissue...PREMIER is the product of a listed company~NTPM...
without the stock market...
all these big corporates will not be able to expand effectively...

Anyone here have EPF account??
EPF invest a very significant amount in our stock market...
any one buy UNIT TRUST??
most of the unit trust expose themselves to equity(stock market)...

even a normal people should know what is stock market...
we should try to understand how it works...
cuz we are surrounded by it dy...

stock market is a very dynamic and integrated market...
its kinda volatile and linked with many other stuff like politic,international stuff and etc...
thats why we have some approach to reduce the impact of the uncertainty..
buy and hold...
fundamental analysis...
dollar cost averaging...
index fund...
but human beings don't like the easy way...
they tend to learn more with the "hard way"...
need to hit the wall 1st before they realize that they cant get through the solid wall...

we cant predict the market movement always...
dont let a single wave kill all your gain...
not worth it...

any move in ur portfolio cost some $$...
it is wise to set the goal 1st..
then set the strategy...
keep moving with the strategy...
lastly monitor and review...

reduce the strategy adjustment...
try to get the best strategy for yourself..
thats mean...you need to understand your own risk and return profile...
how much you want to gain??don't aim the impossible
(a constant 15% for more than 30 years is a grade B+ dy.more than 20% is A+ dy..like warren buffett)
then how much risk u can stay for....
don't get heart attack if your portfolio decrease a 40% when you invest more in cyclical stock like steel,tech,finance and etc...

never overestimate yourself...
many biases will get into your investing decision...

Be real and logic...
investment need no rocket science...
simple and easy method always outperform over the long run...
(passive fund outperform active fund over the long run after minus the transaction cost)

didnt archive all of my 2010 targets yet...

just read around 10 book ++ ...(target 20)

study...still able to archive second upper >3.5~~yeah

coll life>>completed the TT night...
but didnt manage to activate the society...
another investment interest group is established...
so..its still kinda OK

for my finance part...
yeah...manage to push total portfolio to the bar of 20k..
but total return just hanging around 10%...

Blog...
still kinda active...
but didnt manage to cash out more than RM100...
low ads clicks...

Health..
lost my 6 packs...
now united kingdom dy...
but launched the 1 month (December) keep fit plan...yeah...

travel..
we went back to REDANG and a resort of my friend in semporna(singamata) this year...
still feeling in love with that island...

No relationship yet..
friendship so far is enough...
same as the resolution...

dance...
stop all the training dy...
gaining weight due to lack of sport..

activity..
i think i have attended around 5 events or exhibitions only..
still far from target...

SBS prom night~TARC

Yoyoyo...
SBS prom night in da house...
this is a prom night organized by SBS SWC of TARC...
some of their seniors work with me in TT night 2010...

kinda not really satisfy at the beginning...
but at last...
I get 2 VIP tickets,but it come to late dy...
so didnt really utilize the VIP tickets...


lady in red is my classmate + close friend...
the one in black is my EX-classmate + very crazy friend...

this year prom night improved their food serving compare with last year...
we cant get the food last year because there were only 2 serving station...
to serve around 800 persons...
impossible...
this year they have 3 station outside the venue and 1 VVIP and 1 VIP inside the venue...
the food is still very ok for me...
but there are still some1 complain about the food...

*red lady dont like oily food...so not suitable for her...wakkaka



the program of that night is abit lagging and timing run off abit at the beginning..
i didnt manage to see the last show where some of my junior said that...
the show was too "rock"...
and the dance floor was too TECHNO dy...
look like clubbing...

many friends came to the prom night and most of the organizer members are my friend too...
say HI and chat with many people there...
kinda enjoy the social part of the whole night...


red lady kinda "SOK" on that night...
never see her in this kind of costume...]
everyone in da hall open their mouth so big when she walk by...
btw she is kinda talk girl...
173cm without high heel...
this allow her to laugh at me all the time...
cuz i have only 170...
she is bad...



She is the most outstanding in the prom night...
hence....
she won the "best dress"...
cool...
we left after she get her prize...

overall grade for that night...
"B" more area can be improved better...
there are still many leng lui to see in that prom night...wakkakkaka
